Tend one corner
The wealth corner is a story. The habit it builds is not: one corner of the home kept deliberately well is proof the whole place is keepable, and proof is motivating.
Where the corner is
In the bagua laid over a floor plan from the front door, the far left corner is the wealth area. Different schools orient the map differently, which is the first sign that this is symbolic rather than surveyed.
Why one corner and not the house
Whole-house tidying fails because it has no end. A single defined area has a finish line, and finishing is what makes the next attempt likely. That is ordinary behaviour change, borrowed here in a nicer costume.
What the tradition puts there
Something living, something valued, and moving water. You can read that as a metaphor for attending to what you want more of. You do not have to read it as anything at all for the corner to end up cared for.
Say it plainly
No arrangement of objects has been shown to change anyone's income. Graded tradition. The habit underneath it is the part that does anything, and it is worth having for its own sake.
