Copper peptide GHK-Cu
Skin & hairInjury recovery
RouteTopical or subcutaneous injection
+ Add to plan

Mechanism

A tripeptide with copper riding along, occurring naturally in your own body, and it's already doing collagen's job for it: more collagen, more glycosaminoglycans, stem cells called in to the site. Over 4,000 genes tied to tissue remodeling respond to this thing. That's not a skincare rumor, that's a number.

Key Benefit

Human studies confirm wound healing acceleration and skin remodeling. Topical formulations improve skin elasticity, thickness, and reduce fine lines.

Evidence Base

Several small human trials back up wound healing and visible skin repair. Topical? Well-supported. Injectable? The data is thinner, and there's no dressing that up.

Route & Rationale

Topical or subcutaneous injection. Topical delivery effective for skin targets. SC injection used for systemic wound healing or hair restoration protocols.

Interactions

Supplemental zinc recommended. GHK-Cu can deplete zinc over time (copper-zinc competition).

Regulatory Status

Not FDA-approved as a drug. What gets sold is a cosmetic, legally speaking, nothing more. It came off Category 1 in April 2026, with a PCAC review penciled in for early 2027.
