Mechanism

A lab-built version of a tuftsin fragment, that little piece of immunoglobulin G, going to work on serotonin, dopamine, and BDNF all at once. It calms anxiety down without knocking you out and without hooking you, which is the part that gets people's attention.

Key Benefit

Approved in Russia for generalized anxiety and neurasthenia. Improves cognitive function under stress. Also shows immune-modulating properties.

Evidence Base

Approved in Russia, through Roszdravnadzor, their regulatory body. Multiple Russian clinical studies back it. The West? Barely looked at it yet.

Route & Rationale

Intranasal. Intranasal delivery crosses the blood-brain barrier effectively for CNS targets while avoiding hepatic first-pass.

Interactions

No significant known interactions. Theoretically may potentiate other anxiolytics.

Regulatory Status

Not FDA-approved here. Approved in Russia. It came off the FDA's Category 2 list in April 2026, with a PCAC review lined up for July 2026.
